Spring Sports Tryouts

ACMS Spring sport tryouts will begin on Tuesday, February 12th. Students wishing to participate in baseball, softball, girls soccer, and boys track and field will be given specific tryout information on their sport from the coach about the tryout schedule. Any student wishing to try out must have the following completed:

 1.) Attend the mandatory Student/Parent Athletic Meeting on Monday, February 4th located in the gym starting at 6PM.  If you have already attended one of the Mandatory Athletic Meetings for either Fall of Winter you do not need to attend. (If you already played a sport for ACMS this Fall or Winter you do not need to attend).
2.) Have a current physical on file that does not expire before the end of the Spring Season (The final date is May 2nd, 2019)
3.) Must have a current Arbiter Sports Athletic Account (please see Hornet Alert for directions below).
4.) Must meet Eligibility Requirements based on Semester 1 (Grades: 70% average w/o failing 2 or more classes, Did not miss more than 13 days, Not admitted to ACMS on Voluntary Transfer Application, etc.)
All requirements must be meet by the first day of tryouts (2/12/19), if not the student will not be permitted to tryout.


HORNET ALERT!!!!!  We have moved online for the students participating in sports for the upcoming 2018-2019 school year!  Parents of students trying out and participating in sports for the 2018-2019 school year must complete the Pre-Participation form online.  This MUST be completed by all 6th-grade student athletes. The link provided below is the standard link where students and parents can create their profile and then select the school to which they will be attending.  Afterwards, completing the necessary forms for your child to play sports. DIRECTIONS FOR ARBITER ATHLETE: Parents you will need to establish an account using your email. Your child will create an account using their CCS email address. Once both have created a profile, the parents can click a link accounts button, which is where they will put in their child’s student email account. Then, the student must look in their SPAM/Junk folder in their school email for the email to link accounts.  Once the accounts have been linked, the student and parents need to complete the forms with the exception of the physical form, which will be turned into Mr. Greene. Accounts only need to be created once for middle school but should be checked occasionally if updates are needed. Accounts may be registered at
