ACMS hornet placed in a circle with the school colors around it.On Saturday, November 16, 2019, Anne Chesnutt Middle School hosted Robotics competition with the help of North Carolina A & T University Engineering Department.  At this First Lego League (FLL) Competition, the school hosted 22 schools from surrounding areas. The Anne Chesnutt Middle School Techno-Hive competed in the competition as well.

First Lego League (FLL) and North Carolina A &T engineering expose students to real-world engineering by challenging them to build Lego-based robots to complete tasks. Students must be able to explain their design and core values to the judges with the problem that was presented. Teams are given practice times to work out the details before showing their completed tasks to the judges. A variety of schools from across NC were represented on the elementary and middle school level. ACMS was proud to host this fall event for the second year in a row!
