Robotics

Get ready for fun, excitement and exploration into engineering through project based learning. Come learn how to create, construct and write code for autonomous robots using Lego’s Mindstorm NXT and EV3 robots. Imagine it! Engineer it! Make it move! You will work in cooperative learning teams to complete projects and missions created specifically for the NXT and EV3. You will learn to use an array of digital sensors: color sensor, gyro sensor, touch sensor and the ultrasonic sensor.  Students will leave with an understanding of the engineering design process, the ability to problem-solve as well as troubleshoot problems associated with writing code. This course will provide a  meaningful, hands-on experience for students.
