Students around ACMS celebrated Dr. Seuss day in a variety of ways this year. Since Dr. Seuss’ birthday fell on a Saturday classes had activities on Friday, March 1 as well as Monday, March 4th. One of the most popular classroom events was in Mr. Holston’s 8th grade ELA class. Students read Dr. Seuss’ story, Bartholomew and the Oobleck. Students then had the opportunity to create their own oobleck during class. They had to choose the right ingredients to reach the desired consistency and they were able to personalize it with color and glitter. It was a fun and memorable way to remember one of their early childhood authors!
