Greetings All, thank you for your interest in ACMS PTSA and join us in support of Anne Chesnutt Middle School!  PTSA dues for the school year are $6 (parents, faculty, staff, etc) and $5 (students).
Dues are payable via cash or check (checks payable to ACMS PTSA). Please remit payment to child’s homeroom teacher. In the absence of a membership form, be certain to provide parent full name, parent phone & email and child’s grade and homeroom teacher.

What PTSA is NOT…

  • PTSA is NOT a time consuming commitment.
  • Parents are encouraged to volunteer and/or participate in school activities. We appreciate any time you have to offer.
  • PTSA does NOT require parents to spend a certain amount of time at the school.
Again, parents are encouraged to be involved as time permits.
  • PTSA is NOT a fundraising team.  PTSA advocates for the students and school community. We rely on funds generated from membership dues. During the year, we may have the opportunity to run concessions and generate profit. Otherwise, we do not fundraise. We DO support and strongly encourage parents to support the school-wide fundraisers (fall & spring).

PTSA Officers
ACMS PTSA needs to fill the position of treasurer and secretary. If you are interested in serving, please respond to Lutricia Bradley, President at Lutricia.bradley1@yahoo.com and indicate position. You must pay membership dues to hold an office.
The executive committee meets once a month (1st Sunday) at approximately 5:30 p.m. for an hour. Additional face-face meetings are scheduled as necessary. This meeting is for officers only.
General membership meetings are scheduled according to the advisement of the Principal (Ms. Jackson) and is based on the school calendar. There are approximately three (3) general membership meeting per year.
ACMS Parent/Community Volunteer
If you are interested in volunteering, please visit the link below to complete the volunteer registration form.
Completion of the registration form (background check) is required to volunteer in the classroom (i.e. tutor, WATCH D.O.G.S, etc) or assist with athletics etc. The CCS website provides more information on the types of volunteers and a PowerPoint volunteer training presentation.
Again, thank you for your interest and support of ACMS PTSA.
We look forward to a productive school year.
